barking mad established the myth of the production of a B movie featuring werewolves, and undermined the reputation of danger and malevolence suffocating Halton Estate, Hastings. During the regeneration of their neighbourhood, residents crafted and wore a series of wolf masks while going about their daily business. Discussions around the process of change, destiny, anxiety and catalysts other than the full moon, provoked participants to consider the full complexity of who they and their neighbours might be and encouraged them to be more vigilant about the ways that ignorance and intolerance can skew identities and inhibit potential.
